Common Translation Errors

1. Translations require full punctuation. No leaving blank spaces at the end of a sentence!
2. Proofread your translations once for typos. Spelling errors, missing punctuation, and missing translations are the most common reasons a translation gets sent back.

1. Do not use line breaks for single character dialog.

1. Use line breaks with names or hyphenation to denote simultaneous dialog.

1. Subtitles must be between a minimum of 1 second and a maximum of 12. Anything longer or shorter, and you won’t be able to save your work!
2. Subtitles should start when a spoken line begins.
3. Subtitle length should correspond to the length of the audio being subtitled.

Regarding the Transcription Feature and Scripts

1. The transcription is not the script and is not always accurate.
2. The transcription feature may not detect every spoken line.
3. When using a script, remember that the script and recorded lines often differ.
4. Use the above as a base, but always manually check the audio for accuracy.
